Database

All of the data that you customize in your NetMan Desktop Manager installation, from settings to scripts to automatically created entries such as the values for statistics, are stored in the NetMan Desktop Manager database. As a rule, you will not need to access the database directly. The File Browser is a tool provided by NetMan Desktop Manager for viewing the contents of the database, as well as for storing files directly in database. Despite the new database, you can convert your NetMan 4 data and import it into the NetMan 5 database. Following the installation of NetMan Desktop Manager you import the NetMan data by selecting Apply the data from the earlier NetMan installation. You can import the following data:

•Log data

•Collections

•Licenses

•Users

•Stations

•User groups

•Station groups

•User profiles

•Station profiles
